 Yeah, a number of people have asked me about booties lately, and I just stumbled across that site. If you can sew, I imagine they're pretty easy to make too. It's just a small rectangular fleece sack with stretchy velcro at top. The stretchy velcro is the key. It allows you to get them just a little bit tighter on their ankles so they don't fall off. You don't want to cut off the circulation or anything, just be snug. Good luck! 
Oh, and if you order off the site, the 3xs work great for 4-pound Jillie. Eddie, at 10 pounds, is sort of in between 3xs and 2xs. He can wear either. The velcro on the 3xs is snugger, but the 2xs seem to fit him better.
