Is the pain and itching on the outer ear or does it seem to be occurring inside the ear? Any odor coming from the ear? Any debris coming from the ear? Any swelling on the ear flap (outer ear)or around the ear where it is attached to the head? Does the dog shake it's head alot? Or lose balance when walking? Or walk in circles? Or is the head tilted to one side? Is the dog running a fever (temp>102.0F)?Does the dog eat and drink normally? Is it one ear that is affected or both ears?
