When Kona was smaller we used a comb from rite aid on him every day. It was one of those black combs, the kind you get for free at hotels. It worked perfect. With knots we take a small round tipped shear and go from in out to cut through it.
Now we use a flea comb every morning to comb him. It works even better and he rarely has knots bc it's such a little comb that we use all over. And we like it because it doesn't pulling a large area of fur.
Also w/ him not liking it, he hold him under the neck with one hand and groom him with the other. He's really good about not squirming since he started holding him like that. |
