Hello to all of you and Merry Christmas.First I want to say I have posted in the past with interest in maybe becoming a breeder.I have since purchased a beautiful little one in hopes to breed her but to my disappointment she will be way to small vet thinks 2.8 to 3.2 max.I will wait until she done with all of her teething and have her fixed when I have her baby teeth out and microchipped since she is so tiny dont want her to be put to sleep for surgery's if I can do it with just one.I just purchased myself a new little one today she is a gold or blonde yorkie going to get her Sunday.I now have 3 babies 2 girls and 1 boy.I have enrolled Snuffy and Katie into AKC classes starting in Feb.HE is 8 months Katie is 5 month new puppy is 3 months and I will enroll her also.Now my question what is a finished dog? How many classes does it take to finish a dog? If I were to breed in the future I would like to have the healthy,happy well bread babies. I have read here that is is best to have a finished dog for breeding.I may never breed my babies but I still will do the classes I think it will be fun to watch my babies learn new things and me too lol.Sorry post so long just wanted to give enough info for ya'll to bass your opinions.I also want to say I am still 18 months or more before I would consider breeding I want the parents to be at least 2.Thank you in advance for you replys.
