I must be a real orge! My girls wouldn't let me brush them no matter how nice I was, so I got not so nice. I put them on my lap and forced them to tolerate brushing. Now I brush them every night. I have them lay on my lap and start from the bottom and work my way up. Jo Jo Bean actually goes to sleep now while I'm brushing her. I don't think they would be so easy to groom if I had let them get away with their bad behaviour in the beginning.
I also redo the top-knots every night.
