Buddy's alone for 9hrs Mon-Fri. My past dog's were as well with no
problems. I did have Bud in day care, couple days a week but all
they did was carry him around because he was so cute they told me
and he wanted to be up off the floor. The local dog walker in my
neighborhood get's $15.00 for 15mins. I only use him for a wedding
or event. Buddy's fine. He sleeps during the day and has full run
of the condo, well the DR, LR and kitchen. I close the bathroom doors
and bedroom doors so he dosent' feel he has to protect so much.
He's done well for 5 1/2 yrs. He does cry alittle when I leave and I have
been using Rescue Remedy for about 1mo. I think it relaxes him at least
for awhile. My neighbors never complained so I know he does not bark
after I leave. Just sleeps. It's so important to make up for the time
your gone. We play 1/2 in the am and 1/2 hr after dinner with 4
15-20 min walks daily.
