 Tricks - You tube zakgeorge21 - awesome trainer
We picked up a puppy at 14 weeks. Started training him tricks immediately.
Now he is 5 months and is stronger and does any tricks.. as long as i have treats.. the younger, the better! He couldn't stand on his hind legs before, but now he does twirls and jumps pretty high for treats.
Things he learned to this point:
Stay, leave it (leaves food alone, items alone and will not touch it), fetch(this dog wants to play all day long.. he will find me and drag his pull toy and offer it to me while on the couch over and over again to the point he's annoying haha)
let go, jump, paw shake, Bang(plays dead), high-five, crouch, sit, lay down, rings the bell to go poddy on his own, roll over, follow(let's go), no(use this command when he gets into stuff that he shouldn't).
working on getting his leash training.. i suggest YOUTUBE - username zakgeorge21 search.. he is really good to the point animal planet gave him his own show.... his approach is awesome.. it is not the same as Cesar Milan... he makes the dog trust you rather than Alpha male style |
