So, some of you know from my other post about Sophie's blood work from her spay coming back abnormal with the levels of BUNs and creatine. The vet suggested switching her to a lower protein food (she was on Orijen) so I'm switching her to Fromm's Salmon a la Veg. I began the transition tonight, and instead of eating all of her food, she picked out the Orijen (literally, she did, she put it on the floor
) and only ate the Fromm's. She wouldn't even go back to the Orijen and I knew she was still hungry since I only put a little of the Fromm's in there. So I gave her another 1/8 cup of Fromm's and she ate all of it. So here's my question...should I continue to transition and put more Fromm's in there than I do with Orijen or should I just go ahead and do a cold switch since it seems she eats it better than she did the Orijen?
