Taking him outside turned into a fiasco! He kept running away from the pad because he REALLY NEEDED TO GO and he will only pee/poo on grass. It was windy this morning and the pad kept crumpling up. When I tried to straighten it out, Kaji scurried over to a grassy patch to pee in piece. Since he did squat, I quickly picked him up and placed him on the pad and said "go pee pee" which I then praised and treated. He looked so confused!!!!!! He then tried running away from me to go poop. I did the same thing, picked him up mid poop and he finished on the pad. I again treated but he didn't want it. He doesn't understand that pottying on the pad is good. My person to doggy communication needs work, but oh what adventures we're starting to have.
