 Couldn't spay--preop bloodwork came back with problems
We were unable to do the spay today due to Sophie's preop bloodwork coming back with slightly elevated BUNs and creatine. Her BUNs were 30 and normal is between 7 - 25 and her creatine was 2.1 and normal is between 0.3 - 1.4. But he thinks shell be ok and we are checking blood again in 2 weeks and I had a sample sent off to see if we can find the cause. The vet says it might be the high protien food she's eating (orijen) causing it so he wanted us to switch food and the come back to check. So I'm on my way now to get more food. Any suggestions on food an what else I should do? |
