 Colored Sharpies
Congratulations on your new family. How fun!!!!!
I use a different color of permanent marker. When they are teeny-tiny I use a dot on their belly, as they grow I swap to a dot in the ear for quicker/easier identification. When they are almost old enough to go to their forever homes, I switch back to the belly and use write their initial in their "color".
When prospective moms and dads come to look at the pups, if I have more than one to show, I will put a color coded collar on them and take them off immediately after the "lookers" leave. |
