Well, my dog has a full but very brittle coat and it breaks off everywhere so I started off giving her one capsule in the morning and one at night for two weeks, then backed it off to once daily. She thinks it is her treat. You buy the capsules based on the size of dog and just follow the recommendation on the bottle. I have not looked in to liquid form, but that would be nice. Cutting those capsules open is messy and smelly! LOL.
