Oh hun! Don't make yourself sick over this. It is not your fault. In fact, I call what you did a rescue. You are very fortunate that you got a healthy pet. My darling daughter had to have a pet shop puppy, against my will, and I made her pay for it. That was a year before she left for college, knowing that she was going to leave the dog behind. Moka instantly attached herself to me, and I can tell you her purpose was to make the empty nest more bareable and that she did when my daughter left the home. Moka definitely fills the void. There obviously was a reason you brought this fella home with you and you may not fully understand those reasons for quite some time, but it was meant to be. Congrats on your new guy! |
