Our local craigslist has a lot of dog walkers listed , maybe check them out. I would maybe condsider day care 2x a week also... that really does seem like a very very long day with no one home. Maybe when you move into your apartment you will find a responsable teenage who you could trust to come over a play for a 1/2 hour each day.
