Ella was just fixed last Thursday, and even after onsie suggestions from here, I bought her a bite-not collar (smallest cat size). I could see her still licking through the fabric, and the cone was so uncomfortable for her the first night.
Another suggestion I got here was a soft e-collar. I would have chosen that too, but the store did not have her size and I didn't want to wait to have it sent to me.
She has not had any issues with the bite-not collar.
