I'm glad you brought him back and hopefully the breeder knows what she is doing. Puppies that small have no reserve if they don't eat. 1 day of not eating and a pup that size is in big trouble! You have to syringe feed them every 4 hrs and stuff them full ( about 10- 18 cc's ) each feeding until you can feel a round belly. It is a full time job just keeping them alive if they crash hard. If you take him back, I would wait until he is closer to 1.10lb - 2 lbs and 12 wks. She should have NEVER let a puppy go that small no matter how old he is IMO.
