Lucky our Morkie was barking but he barks at the wind, the leaves, the grass, a grasshopper....at anything. So I should have paid attention when he was barking. There are a lot of things I could have done differently. The main thing that I have to tell you guys is.IF your dog ever goes missing PLEASE run outside first, go the neighbors real fast, run around the house. I spent about 2-3 minutes running through every room in my house frantically searching and calling him. Those 2-3 min a lot of things could have happened and it was wasted precious time.I know , I know I cant keep thinking of what I should have done differently.
One thing I will say this experience has assured me of a couple of things.
I will NEVER , EVER let a dog go out to potty unless I am not right there in front of them.
I am getting a GPS flatrate tracker. You can attach it to a harness and get their location on your cell phone or computer.

They have others that have a monthly fee like $15
But there is another that is a flat price and you never have to pay a monthly fee. In my opinion , its worth it. If a person takes your dog, they will not know what that is on them and you have a few minutes to track them quickly using your cell phone or computer.

The yorkie that was surrendered to me on Saturday is doing well here. I take him to the foster adoption center on Wednesday. He is a very good dog and will do great with someone who wants to give 1 pet a ton of affection. He is very needy and always wants to be on my lap and he's not a little guy either!
I just didnt want to think that he would be taken to animal control or something like that. Its funny to see him. He pushes the others out of the way to get my attention but acts like he's a baby and he thinks he's a little guy lol. Yesterday was the first time that I fell completely knocked out on the sofa with this Yorkie named Jasper. I have not been able to sleep the whole night in 3 weeks so I am thankful for that.

Tomorrow I am going to put up fresh fliers in main streets here and use the listening device and walk around the neighborhood some

Thinking of you daily and hoping and praying Cookie is returned.

If you don't mind me asking, do you have a link for where you can get a GPS for your dog? Jackson is microchipped, but I know it's not a tracker. It sounds like a great idea to have it on a collar or harness for him.
