I slipped and fell on Doodlebug's pee in my kitchen June 28th and had surgery July 2. I broke my arm in 3 places, had surgery and they put a plate and 8 screws in my arm. I spent 3 days in the hospital after the surgery because they were not able to control my pain after surgery. I've have been in physical therapy for 5 months to regain my range of motion. Just last week I was referred to a specialist because of nerve damage and am still in pain.
They told me at this point I might never fully recover.
So yes~I was injured by my baby but it was an accident and I still love him very much. He is now not allowed EVER out of his belly bands inside the house.
I know how you feel with a broken arm. The time will go fast with your cast. I was luck I did not have to wear a cast execpt for 2 weeks and then I was in a soft brace.
