Humping is a dominance thing.

In order to be the pack leader, you MUST have control of ALL the things that dogs do, naturally...

1. Hunt
2. Kill
3. Eat
4. Sleep
5. Breed

1-3. Are easy, we provide the food,and allow them to eat it, after they are given the OK. Wait, then ok...
4. Also easy, that is the getting on the sofa or bed after being invited.
5. The dominant dog (in this case the human) controls the breeding. The other dogs, are challenged. I say STOP, and do not remove the item. Repeat as necessary.

Some people think it is cute, but it is part of a slippery slope...
