We'll keep Sydney in our thoughts and prayers. Maggie May also had about 4 teeth removed at the time of her spay. She was in a little bit of pain the night of her spay but once she got some pain meds, she quieted right down. She kinda kept to herself that night but by morning she was a bit more social although still a little quiet. By the next day she was back to her ol' self pretty much.
Don't be shy about asking the vet for pain meds. Also make sure to ask if you can give her some the same evening...we had to call and wait to hear back from the vet. Maggie had the dissolving type of stitches so we didn't have to go back to have them removed.
Sidney will be just fine.
