Thanks Marj! I would definitely try this recipe. The last part of what Marj wrote (the alternating with cottage cheese) was intended for a nursing momma. I don't think that I would offer a 4 week old puppy cottage cheese (might upset his little tummy).....but the whelping pudding and/or any canned puppy food the he likes, would be a good start. Also, Mary ("Mardelin") has a recipe for puppy gruel that she offers hers. Let me PM her and see is she will post it.

Do you have Nutrical on hand?

I am so sad that a breeder would do this to a puppy.
