If you think you can't keep her (& I don't think anyone here would blame you for that), I think the best thing to do would be to contact a rescue organization. If there is a Yorkie rescue in NC, that would probably be best, but any rescue would work.
It sounds like this poor pup needs some serious rehab work before she finds a forever home!
PS. I completely understand taking her home on impulse. I've certainly done it before (actually more times than not). We get that maternal need for a baby thing going and it just takes over. Don't feel too bad. Lesson learned. |
