She is so adorable! Welcome to YT, I am new here myself, and I get to pick up my little guy tomorrow. My breeder will not allow them to go home one day before they are twelve weeks. Not onw single day. At first I thought my breeder was a natzi, because I was put through a TON of questions. I felt like the only thing she didn't ask for was my credit score. However, she also answers all of my questions, encourages me to call ANYTIME. I know her babies are her FIRST concern. I have found several along the way, who were willing to ask for your money, but offered no guarantee, and the pups weren't papered. (Not that I wouldn't take one if it wasn't papered, just if I am still paying the same price I would like to have them). My breeder offers a guarantee. It is a great one (I think), there are some exclusions, but offers a lifetime guarantee against open fontanel. Three years on breed requirements, meaning if for some reason the puppy grows up and doesn't meet the breed standards you get a credit. And a one year health guarantee that protects against hereditary conditions.
I really think as anxious as we get, we have to remember our little babies need that time to develop, and the breeder can specifically monitor things, most of us don't know to look for!
Oops----long post. I am not an expert, your little babie is so adorable. I can't wait to watch her grow up. |
