I agree that a reputable breeder is not likely to peddle their dogs like wares at a pet expo. Look for a reputable breeder - you might even find a few YT members who are breeders in your area who are reputable or who can direct you. Good breeders will be picky - and you should be picky too! When I bought Teddy last year, we went to a great breeder with 25 years of experience breeding yorkies but our other babies were pet store dogs.
