Ok so for the past two years I have been wanting a Yorkie, and for the past yr I have been doing research. I was looking in the news paper classifieds b/c I like looking at them, and an add caught my attention, "all pet expo" then it listed all the types of dogs that would be there. since it was close by, my daughter (who is 4) and I went to check it out. We dont have "Pet stores" here in San Antonio, so this would be like the closest thing. I have been reading a lot about puppy mills and brokers and things like that. So we got there and there were all these cute little puppies and my daughter went nuts looking at all of them. Any way... I was thinking and I know some people say that if the breeder who is attending these expos are not reputable, some of the puppies looked sick, but only a few, most of them looked really good and healthy. I wouldnt buy a puppy from a pet store, b/c I know those dogs come from a puppy mill. Would these dogs more then likey be from a mill as well?
