The reason I posted was because I had been informed that the mom should be going into heat again and that they plan on breeding the pair (mom and dad) again. We are in love with our little girl and truthfully, I would love to have one of her full sisters but there are some questions and concerns I wanted to address prior to even considering it. And, one was this breeding question I just posted. And, yes another consideration is for the mom and her size. Thank you guys for your info and responses. Elaine
I understood that you were not the one doing the breeding. It was a very good question you had. I do know that some people do breed the smaller yorkies, I see it all the time in ads for puppies for sale but I just don't recommend it. One thing to consider is that litters are not always consistent. She could repeat the breeding and you could get another pup but there is no guarantee the pup would be like your current pup. Some pups out of a litter can be as different as day and night, just like human siblings can be different. You just never know. Whatever happens, good luck finding a new buddy for your little girl.
