Welcome to YorkieTalk. I am not familiar with prices in Oklahoma but for pet quality I believe that a fair price (again depending on the age) for a yorkie would be $500 - $800 and many are priced higher depending on how big they are full grown or if they have champion backgrounds. The smaller the Yorkie the higher normally the price will be. And although some feel the smaller ones are "more desirable" they do tend to sometimes have more health concerns or if nothing else, you really have to be more careful with them, as something as simple as them jumping out of your arms could result in major injury. Please don't give up on checking with your local humane society or pound. It's surprising how often yorkie or yorkie-mixes can tend to end up there waiting for a second chance. I have a puppy available now, but I'm in Ohio. I wish you the best of luck in your effort to give a yorkie nice home. Don't give up, when it's meant to happen it will. Take care.
