She walks just fine when she's in the yard to do her business, so it must be the enclosed feeling. You're probably right with your grass being so thick, inside is better. I haven't left Lola alone at all, she's either on my lap or DH's lap. The vet said it was very important to have complete supervision for the first week or so...it's like having a newborn all over again! They told us that it was most important that neither she nor Toby licked the area, and that does take watching allllll the time! |
Yeah it doesn't seem swollen or overly red like the care sheet they gave us told us to look for. I just didn't know why the sutures weren't showing or why it looked like some 'meat' was showing like that, but WinstonsMom made it make sense.
My mom works from home and I am home most of the time, too. So we do keep watch her but you know our eyes can't be watching them 100% of the time. She sleeps a lot on her blanket and for example right now is on the couch with us. But yeah, she sometimes gets through the towel we have around her at the moment while her onesie is getting washed and dryed. But she should be ok up on the couch with us now that we've finished having dinner, etc.
She doesn't get to it very long, though. It's just stressing me out!! I don't know what to do if this accident happens again in her onesie.
