I'm not a vet, (I don't even play one on TV) but I will say that Lola looks almost the same, except she has a bright red spot where she's bruised from the hernia work. Lola still doesn't want to walk a lot, mostly sits in my lap, but a lot of that seems to be from the onesie. She walks just fine when she's in the yard to do her business, so it must be the enclosed feeling. You're probably right with your grass being so thick, inside is better. I haven't left Lola alone at all, she's either on my lap or DH's lap. The vet said it was very important to have complete supervision for the first week or so...it's like having a newborn all over again! They told us that it was most important that neither she nor Toby licked the area, and that does take watching allllll the time!
