Hello my name is Sandy I just joined your forum, I work for the largest Animal Control Agencie in the nation, I am an Animal Control Officer I own Yorkies and have seen many sick dogs. Sometimes matter coming from your dogs eyes is an upper respitory infection and can only be cured by antibiotics, sometimes this what we call URI can be fatal if not treated especially to such a fragile dog!
