I know that even if I sell my little girls for $1200 each, we'll still not be making any money. We don't want to charge that much for them, but we don't want to lose money due to how expensive Maya's emergency c-section was, stud fee, prenatal care, whelping box and supplies, puppy pen, toys, etc., puppy vet bills, etc.. So, yes, vet bills play a role in the price as well as the breeder. But these babies of mine are spoiled rotten already and getting the BEST care, I think my pups are worth it. And trust me, I won't be making a penny off of them. It just depends on the situation sometimes, too. I hope you find a pup!
