I am so sorry! I had a friend die this way about a month ago. Some infection that her body just couldn't fight. It is hard enough to lose a parent, but when it is so unexpected it makes it harder, I think. Wish you could have been with your son to comfort each other when this happened. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
