I would just stress that a lethargic puppy is a short step away from a hypoglycemic episode and needs immediate attention. He needs some Nutri-cal or karo to get his blood sugar up and then he needs to eat, whether on his own or if you have to feed him. It really only takes minutes for a pup to go into shock or seizure once they're weak from not eating.
