I'm laughing so hard I have tears running down my face! Poor Max!
Both my boys are neutered, but Higgins still humps "Susie", his baby blanket! And Pogo, who is 12 and has been fixed for YEARS, has turned gay and thinks it's nice to hump Higgins while Higgins is tugging on a toy. Higgins shows him his teeth!
When we were showing our English Setters years ago, we had a huge locked kennel, and I vividly remember a time with both my big girls were in heat and there was one chubby lab who sat outside the kennel fence for THREE WEEKS! We gave him water, but no food (hoping he would go home) and he looked quite fit and trim after his vigil. We didn't know who the owners were (no tag on his collar) and we lived way out in the country at the time. I felt so sorry for that poor dog!
Neutering is such a wonderful thing! I don't miss going through the heats! |
