We use it and Callie didnt have to be put under to have it done. I have gotten up to four applications out of one tube which in my opinion is awesome and I brush her teeth before i putt it on then comb her and then apply the ovavet. It seems to work so i plan to keep using it. I found the easiest way to apply it to Callie is to buy the little finger rubber gloves and put it on my pointer finger and apply it that way.
