Just be consistent and try to keep her on a schedule for food, play, and potty. A schedule is much easier for a puppy to learn and creates less stress for you. Your puppy will learn to expect things at certain times, including when to relieve herself. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to keep her in a crate instead of free run in a fenced backyard. 5 months is still very young. Accidents will happen. If you're in somebody's house, make sure to bring an enzyme cleaner with you.
