I just got a call from a Lady asking if I found my yorkie. I told her not yet. She says she has a 1 yr male that she wants to give away to a good home because she cannot give him all the attention he wants. She says he's constantly wanting to be on her lap and she says she has no time plus she has 3 kids. Right now I am not in the position that I'm looking for a new dog but maybe I could foster him until I can find him a perfect home. He has all his papers she said. About 7 lbs I think. She is sending his pictures to me...as I'm writing this I just got a picture message of him. This is truly so sad because here I am searching, calling people, taking calls of people who say they've seen Cookie and there are people wanting to give them up for free?
Gen | I think you should take him, even if it is just to foster for a while. I always worry so much about where these babies will wind up when people just give them away. Or, at least refer her to a good rescue who will thoroughly screen potential new homes.
