Wow, I can't believe we are talking FARENHEIT here with the 9 degrees and 17 degrees? yikes! In my area (the northeast) it was 65f yesterday.

I am a new dog owner, so I don't know from parkas and boots. But I just wanted to chime in and say I knitted a nice warm sweater for my Yorkie and it's been doing the trick sofar (we have been down to about 39f some days). I used a chunky wool called Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride. Size 11 needles and I knitted it up in a few hours.

I am going to try and make a matching one for the new puppy this weekend. I don't know how to post pics on a thread but if I could I would.
