I have a friend her pups were 3 weeks old had got eclampsia. She now does oral calcuim 3 times a day and making sure she eats 5 times a day and she is doing fine. So I was wondering why some can and some can't.
It's all dependent on their Vet. I for one wouldn't allow my girls to nurse if they had an episode. I understand that hand rearing a litter is hard work, but I'd rather do that than put my girl through another episode.
