Hi, I have a Westie who loves to walk and a Yorkie who doesn't. In the dead of winter - we will put the Westie on the treadmill.
We started at a
super slow speed (less than 1) and gave him a little bite of treat every few minutes and praised him.
While I wouldn't say he enjoyed it - he didn't seem to mind and did it for the treats.
In a pinch of really bad weather - it helps. Of course, he ended up gaining weight over the winter and I can't help but wonder if it was due to all the treats he got while walking the treadmill!
