We lived in Maine for the first 6 years of Edie's life. She would go outside to pee pee in the winter, as I was never able to train her to use wee wee pads consistently. I always put a coat on her when it was below 20 degrees F, even if she was only going outside for one minute. Above 20 F, and she was able to go outside for a short time (just a couple of minutes) without a coat.
Now that we are in Arizona, she does not wear a coat at all. |
