My wife and I also want a second Yorkie. We had/have the perfect situation for having ANY pet, though. She works nights, and is available all day for our pets. I work days, and am available all night for our pets. We spent a lot of time potty training Buddy, but he hasn't had a problem since he was a baby (yeah schedule!!!). I think a second Yorkie would add all the normal concerns and then some. I agree with those who said to get a second Yorkie sooner rather than later. Aclimate the new one before YOU have a new one. I also wonder how jealous they can be. I just don't know. It would stand to reason that if one has a problem with a new baby, a second would be a problem times two.
