This is an update to the thread lost 2 and doing all I can.
Today at 5pm the tiny guy I named baby chicken died. He was 3 weeks old today. He had seemed fine the last few days. Eating very well and he gained weight yesterday. From 3.9 to 4.1 and this morning we all did the happy dance because his little eyes were cracked open. He ate a few hours ago and still had a big belly. I don't mean to add to much info but be wasn't cold or anything else... nothing, no sign and placed on the scale he was 4.3 ounces. HE GAINED, He gained and his eyes were opening and he's dead. I am so angry and so sad. That baby didn't deserve to die, he lived for THREE dammed weeks. tell me it's part of being a breeder but I can't accept that. He was a living, breathing, beautiful baby boy and he now has to be buried. and I brought them here. |
