My Yorkie when he got spayed he was brought home same day and was very drowzy. Not crying or whipering. He just slept it off. The next morning he was the same hyper dog. Poor little guy had to wear a bowl though for 10 days or they bite their stiches out.
As soon as the 10th day came and i was ready to go to the vet to take them out, as soon as i took off the bowl he bit them out. I called the vet and told them they said its okay he did the job for them.
If your baby is not drinking water even or shaking for a long time without calming down or has a fever i would go see the vet. Although that is my opinion in terms of what i would do.
