I just got her home and had instructions from the vet, etc. They even gave her a deep cleaning on her teeth for no additional charge as well as a step-in type harness, which was nice! I just had the kind that slips over the head and snaps at the waist.

I'm worried because she is wimpering and crying a little. She's only been home about an hour. They said they gave her a 24 hour pain medication, would she still feel pain though? She's also shivering I am sure it's because she's scared.

I don't think this is in need to call the vet but what do you think? Are these normal things for first day home from spay surgery?
