Different breeders have such different criteria. A breeder I spoke to would not sell to me because I didn't have a yard, another wouldn't because I told her I would be crate training - she did not want that...a lot of people declined me because I had a child. My breeder had concerns but I was able to convince her that I had been training my son for months for impending yorkie ownership.
A lot of breeders do not want their pups left home alone all day. I can understand it, but I also see so many people on YT who's dogs are left alone and I know they are some of the happiest little pups around. Be patient, you will find your doggie soon.
