I think you are being very careful and that is graet. Maybe even wear gloves, disposable of course, when handeling the meat. I have touched the raw meet and jus washed my hands with hot soapy water after. I also rinse and wash the bowl that i give Teddy the food in and pour steamy hot water on it for a while and wash it.
I have heard about those medallions and have heard nothing but good. Yiou can always contact the manufacturer. Although i am going to go to humangradepets store this weekend to buy them. They seem more practical.
Right now i have purchased 4 hamberger looking type patties and I feed almost one of them a day to Teddy. I also bought a container with ground up meat (turkey), with bones, and veggies, full balanced meat, much cheaper but i will have to deforst the entire thing or at least half way, split it up, saran wrap it and put back into the freezer. Not bad just more work.
Anyone have any other suggestions???? |
