Hello everyone, This is Gina, Bailey's mama. Ok so everything so far is going pretty good. She's eating well and drinking well. I'm making sure she gets all the calcium she needs on top of her egg every day along with her whelping pudding that she loves so very much. The babies are attaching well to her and i'm feeling really good about that.
I do have one question though..... why in the world would she jump out of her 4x4 pen that i have set up for them and leave her babies and come to me 3 times in the middle of the night. at first i freaked out thinking omg something is wrong with a pup, but then i get there and they are all sleeping in a pile...(so cute!
) Then the second time i thought well...maybe she just needs to go potty. so i let her outside. But then it happend a 3rd time and it's just started to scare me. I mean...doesnt' she want to be with here babies? someone please enlighten me alittle here. I slept the first night on the floor in the office right next to them and she never did it then... but my body cant handle the floor. I had a back surgry and needless to say...i'm still hurting sooo very bad for the 2 nights i was on the floor. any sugestions?? thanks!
