I've been feeding raw for about 3 months, and hear about this bacteria, etc...how does a human get it?  Is it in the medallion and touching it is the problem, as I never touch the raw w/my hands...I use a clean forcep like utensil to take out the raw and put it in clean baggies to thaw out in the fridge overnight...I use the knife to get the medallion out of the bag, and place it on a thoroughly clean stainless steel dish and cut it up in bite size pieces...  Do all the medallions have a certain amount of this "bacteria" in them, or would this be a faulty product made by the vendor?  Thanks for any info you have about this...However, if I had to take Apple off of raw, I'm not sure she would eat anything...OMG'sh does she love it...And she looks absolutely wonderful!!!     |
