my dog just had a baby 3 days ago through a c-section. The first day, she didn't even care for the baby. It almost seemed like she hated it. The next day, yesterday, she got more curious about it and by the end of the day was nursing him, cleaning him, and sleeping with him. Very protective. She is a 2 year old teacup yorkie and this is her first litter. She only had a one baby. Today she was even more in love this puppy. She wouldnt leave it side and watched its every move...still nursing and still cleaning. However, tonight she started acting very restless and panting a lot. I gave her water and she drank a lot and i turned off the heating pad but she still is panting and still seems restless.....anyone have any ideas why?
